Seven hot sandwiches to boost your mood


Sandwiches are the best quick-and-easy breakfast ever. They don’t occupy much space in your bag, so they are great for a meal at work.
Life Beauty Place has collected seven absolutely delicious sandwich recipes to make your day greater!

Hot tomato and cheese bruschetta

Ingredients:
  • 1 baguette
  • 3 tomatoes
  • 1 onion
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon of dried basil
  • A dash of salt
  • A dash of ground black pepper
  • 200g of mozzarella cheese
Instructions:
  1. Combine the sliced tomatoes, onion, garlic, basil, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Toss everything carefully, cover the bowl with a lid, and put it into the fridge.
  2. Heat the oven to 190°C.
  3. Slice the baguette diagonally into 12 slices.
  4. Toast the bread in the oven for 5 minutes until it turns a golden color.
  5. Adjust the temperature to 120°C.
  6. Scoop the tomato salad onto the toast with a tablespoon.
  7. Cover each sandwich with thin slices of mozzarella.
  8. Heat up the bruschetta in the oven until the cheese melts (it will take just about 2 minutes). Serve immediately.

Fried tomato and cheese sandwiches

Ingredients:
  • Several slices of bread
  • 1 or 2 tomatoes
  • 100g of cheese
  • Oil for frying
Instructions:
  1. Slice the tomatoes and cheese.
  2. Heat up a frying pan and add some oil.
  3. Fry one side of the bread and turn it over to the other side.
  4. Lay the tomatoes and cheese on top and cover the pan with a lid.
  5. Serve the sandwiches as soon as the cheese is melted.

Baked sandwiches with cheese and shrimp

Ingredients:
  • 200g of hard cheese
  • 150g of shrimp (you can use the smallest shrimp)
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise (you can use sour cream or natural yogurt instead)
  • 8 slices of wheat bread
Instructions:
  1. Grate the cheese or make thin slices.
  2. Unfreeze the shrimp if they are already cooked, or boil them.
  3. Slice the tomatoes into thin pieces.
  4. Chop or press the garlic and combine it with the mayonnaise.
  5. Spread the garlic sauce on each slice of bread, then lay the tomatoes, shrimp, and cheese on top.
  6. Grill the sandwiches for a couple of minutes to let the cheese melt.

Mushroom and cheese sandwich

Ingredients:
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • 250g of champignons
  • 1 onion
  • 2 tablespoons of butter
  • 150g of hard cheese
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon of caraway (if desired)
  • Salt and pepper
Instructions:
  1. Slice the mushrooms and onion.
  2. Fry the onion with the butter until it’s cooked. Add the mushrooms and fry over a medium heat for a couple more minutes.
  3. Add the pressed garlic and caraway and mix well.
  4. Grate the cheese using a large-hole grater.
  5. Place the mushroom filling on one half of each hamburger bun. Sprinkle them with the cheese and grill for five minutes until the cheese melts.
  6. Take them out and cover with the other bun.
You can also cook the sandwiches in a skillet. Place the filling on one half of the buns and cover with the other one. Toast the buns in a dry, covered skillet until the cheese melts.

Egg and cheese sandwiches

Ingredients:
  • 8 slices of wheat bread (ciabatta is a good option)
  • 2 tablespoons of butter
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 100g of cheese
  • 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise
  • Fresh parsley
  • Salt and pepper
Instructions:
  1. Take the butter out of the fridge before cooking to bring it to room temperature.
  2. Grease both sides of the bread evenly with the butter.
  3. Place the bread in a skillet and fry each side until a golden crust appears.
  4. Hard boil the eggs and chop them.
  5. Grate the cheese and combine it with the pressed garlic and eggs.
  6. Salt and pepper the filling, and dress with the mayonnaise.
  7. Spread the filling over the bread and garnish the sandwiches with the parsley.

Hot avocado and mozzarella sandwiches

Ingredients:
  • 2 big or 4 small slices of rye bread
  • 1 avocado
  • 4 slices of mozzarella
Instructions:
  1. Cut the avocado lengthwise. Remove the seed and peel the avocado. Cut it into slices and lay it on the bread.
  2. Add some salt. You can also sprinkle the sandwich with lemon juice.
  3. Cover the sandwiches with the slices of mozzarella.
  4. Grill the sandwiches until the cheese melts.

Toasted blue cheese sandwiches

Ingredients:
  • 1 baguette
  • 1/4 cup of seed oil or melted butter
  • 2 peeled and sliced pears
  • 250g of Dorblu or Gorgonzola cheese
  • 1 cup of shredded walnuts
Instructions:
  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  2. Slice the baguette and place the pieces on a baking sheet in one layer.
  3. Grease each slice with the oil or butter.
  4. Place a slice of pear on top, and sprinkle the sandwiches with the grated cheese and walnuts.
  5. Bake them in the oven for 10 to 15 minutes until the pears get brown and the cheese melts.
